Step 1: Gather the Components: Before you begin the installation, ensure you have all the necessary components readily available. You’ll need the Lowrance Eagle unit, BerleyPro Visor, M3 x 10 Phillips pan head screws, flat washers, nylock nuts, Stainless Steel tabs, a screwdriver compatible with Phillips screws, and the user manual. Verify that all the components are in good condition, and ready for a smooth installation process.

Step 2: Remove the Corner Tabs: Refer to the user manual for instructions on removing the corner tabs from your Lowrance Hook/Reveal unit. Follow the manual’s guidelines carefully to detach the tabs without causing any damage to the device.

Step 3: Attaching the Screws, Washers, and Nylock Nuts: Using the appropriate screwdriver, take the M3 x 10 Phillips pan head screws and insert them one by one through the designated holes on the unit. Place a flat washer onto each screw at the top of the unit.

Step 4: Use the Stainless Steel tabs for the bottom corners. On the backside of the mounting surface, secure each screw with a nylock nut, ensuring a tight fit. Tighten the screws and nylock nuts securely, but avoid over-tightening. Re-install the corner tabs as per the instructions in your Lowrance user manual, you are set to now install your unit onto your boat or kayak.

Hi Marty ,
I just received my sun visor for my new lowrance eagle 9 bought from HWS and unfortunately the top screws do not align propwrly. The bottom holes fit in but the top is too tight a fit and I tried jamming it in but then the screws won’t come through and I can’t get the bolt on and was close to breaking something on the unit , I am wondering if this maybe was an older model style or earlier model. I also tried heating the plastic but my head gun is not powerful enough and save cutting the plastic myself I thought id ask you. Tried for around an hour before I got frustrated and gave up on it.
On plane now but can send you photos when I get back home on Thursday night.
Thanks,
Tyrone

We did, but don’t recommend it as there’s nowhere great to fit it.
