Improve Visibility of Your Garmin Fish Finder

BerleyPro Garmin Visors help shield compatible Garmin fish finders and chartplotters from direct sunlight, glare, rain and spray. By reducing water and reflections on the display, the visor makes sonar, charts and other screen information easier to see in bright and changing conditions, while helping keep the screen clearer between cleanings.

Reduce Glare, See More

The visor shades the display from direct sunlight, reducing glare and reflections that can make sonar and chart information difficult to read. This can allow you to run the display at a lower brightness when conditions permit, potentially reducing power consumption and screen heat. A shaded display can also be easier to read when you're moving between bright sunlight and changing light conditions on the water.

  • Extended Battery Life: Reduces power draw, keeping your battery fresh for long days on the water.
  • Lower Unit Temperatures: Prevents heat buildup caused by full-brightness backlighting combined with direct sun exposure.
  • Prevents Thermal Shutdowns: Protects against thermal throttling and unexpected unit shutdowns during hot summer fishing sessions.

Better Visibility After Dark

A visor isn't just useful during the day. At night, it helps contain light emitted from the Garmin display and reduce reflections onto the windscreen and surrounding surfaces. This can make the display easier to view while helping minimise distracting light in the cockpit.

Designed for Garmin

Each BerleyPro Garmin Visor is precision-designed for compatible Garmin fish finder and chartplotter models, providing a close-fitting, low-profile installation. Durable construction and supplied mounting hardware make the visor suitable for the demands of regular use on the water.

BerleyPro Visor FAQ

How do these attach to the unit?

Our visors mount using the existing flush mounting holes that are usually hidden under the removable bezels / tabs on the face of your unit.

All hardware required to attach the visor is included.

Can they be used on a gimbal and swing mount?

Absolutely any mounting of a sounder is no barrier to easily fitting a BerleyPro Visor

How do these compare to 3d printed visors?

3d printed visors aren’t strong and usually struggle to retain shape

Why aren't these made out of aluminum or another material?

Aluminum has been shown to block the GPS module inside units while cloth visors lack structural integrity and retain moisture

Can they be used on the bow of a bass boat?

Absolutely and bow mounted units are proving to be a great advantage with forward facing sonar users.

How do I know what unit I need?

We have developed compatibility charts for each brand.
