Rooster Rooter – Transducer Spray Deflector

Hello Marty, apologies for the delay. The transducer spray deflector was the wrong one. The packaging said it was for the active imaging transducer. My transducer is the 3 in 1 transducer. How this error occurred I don’t know. Very possible I may have ordered the wrong one by mistake. Am not blaming you folks. Think it may be modified to fit the 3 in 1 transducer. Well built component, manufactured by people who know how to make things. Shipping time and communication from across the Pacific Ocean to the US was impressive. Thinking that sending it back would not make any sense. An odd review for certain, none the less, my impression is that BerlyPro is reputable business, worthy of notice by boaters world wide.

I order this for my tracker Panfish to cut down on the water spray. And when I installed it, it wasn't long enough to cover the gap between the transducer and the hull. When I sent them a email to see about getting a longer one my email went unanswered. when I sent another email I was told that if I wanted an refund I need to ship it back to Australia. I'm in the States Its was going to cost me more to ship to back than I paid for it.

The spray deflector did exactly as promised. No more spray on my engine cowl, and I never loose transponder signal to my machine. Highly recommended. Simple installation.

Easy install works perfect! Sounder readings are more stable and no rooster tail!

I recieved my rooster rooter about 8 days after i ordered!
It didnt really fit my gt 51 garmin transducer screw mounting pattern only two holes out of the 5 lined up but crooked lol! So i drilled a couple holes in it and was able to use 4 screws although bot accross from each other but good enough!
Before the rooster off the xdcr was terrible the mist came into my North river seahawk entire seating area!
Now after RR MIST AND ROOSTER
GONE!!

Yeah mate it don’t work and don’t fit my transducer I have hds 12 lawrance holes don’t line up only could put 3 screws in to give it a try and it sprays all over the motor and still has a roster tail

My depth sounder would cut out at speed with low fuel level in tank. I’m hoping this will fix it but tank is still half full so will have to wait to find out. If anything I would like to see the rooter wider at the transom to control water flow more. Also since my cable was already taut, I had to deepen the groove for the cable at the transom end by about 15mm to make it fit. I also found two of the original six screws on the transducer broke at the head while trying to remove them due to corrosion over 5 years. Don’t know how to get the broken shanks out.

Put the RR on my transducer. Very easy to fit.
It has eliminated practically all of the rooster tail caused by the transducer

Very well made, super easy to fit in 2 minutes, certainly does the job and stops the spray from my 3 in 1 transducer on my Stacer Crossfire. Has been on for about 12mnths, no issues whatsoever, ive forgot its even there! thanks

Good service but did not fit between my transducer and transom, so it’s just a piece of metal sitting in my drawer.

Happy with my purchase havnt had a chance to see how it works been some bad weather up in hervey bay it was quick delivery and as described thanks warren

Perfect fit and fast delivery

Had to do some modifications to the plate to make it fit my HDS PRO transducer with the cable mounted at the rear these plates aren’t a straight fit.

I didn’t have a huge amount of spray coming off the transducer but enough to be getting onto the motor. This little beauty was super easy to install and brought the spray down to zero. Very happy. Cheaper and better looking than some other spray guards on the market.

I’m very happy with the purchase. The item fits to the transponder itself meaning you don’t need to drill additional holes into the boat like other deflectors on the market. Its small form factor is preferable in my opinion from an aesthetics point of view.
It works in stopping any spray from my transponder which is the was the objective.
It was cheap.
The store was great with very quick postage.

Easy to fit and effective

Shipping to Pennsylvania was pretty quick. Priced well too. 100% did the trick as I have no more transducer splash. At higher speeds I'd get a huge spray up into the splash well of my Starcraft Holiday 18. Definitely recommend if using the GT-52HW transducer from Garmin

Holy cow, what was a rooster tail of sea spray covering my engine cowling, using your product I now have nothing. Not even a hint of spray! Amazing product!

A really simple product to install and it works great too. I didn’t think it would make such a difference, but there’s no rooster tail of water going all over the motor now. Perfect.

The inexpensive and easy to install solution to excessive water spray from my Lowrance 3 in 1 transducer. So glad I found this! Shipment was very quick and had the product within a few days. This thing works!!

Catchy name, easy to fit and cheap on the pocket.

Did not work at all, a waste of money.

As I travelled in my boat I had a jet of water coming off my Totalscan transducer and it was hitting directly where the seal of my outboard cowling attaches. I found salt under the cowling on the engine internals so I had to find a solution asap. I put this on in 5 minutes and it fixed the problem. I still get a bit of a jet but it goes straight out the back. Definitely Served it's purpose. Cheap and effective, very happy with the result. Thank you.

Excellent product! I had an issue with water spraying into my boat from the Lowrance transom mounted transducer. The product from BerleyPro solved that issue. Simple yet effective device!
