The Humminbird ready transducer mount is designed to fit in the existing Lowrance Ready location on the base of Hobie® kayaks. This allows your side imaging to work clearly and the cover provides protection to the transducer.
This mount fits the following humminbird transducers
This is made from tough 3mm ABS plastic and comes with stainless steel fasteners required.
USThe mount worked well with my Hobie Compass Duo. The only issue was I had to do some minor trimming for it to fit in the kayak's existing slot transducer cover. Other than that it worked well.
CAI use a Berley Pro BP2603 transducer mount with a Humminbird XNT 9 HW SI T transducer and Humminbird HELIX 7 CHIRP SI GPS G4 on a 2023 Hobie Compass. The transducer mount installs perfectly and my side scan images are great even in choppy water. Five thumbs up!
CAI ordered a sonar plate for a Hummingbird Sonar but then returned it and picked up a Garmin instead. Now the Garmin transducer is considerably longer than the Hummingbird and so I had to modify the plate by removing the rear portion of the lip of the plate so the transducer could clear it. I have used it 4 or 5 times now and found it to be really tough. I even ran aground onto a rock and it was fine. This product is well worth the price.
USWorks as expected
USI bought this product because I had been using a side mounted transducer arm. Got tired of picking weeds off of it so wanted to change the way I mounted it. So far my experience with it has been great. It’s durable and bolted up with minimal tools and fuss during the installation. The only draw back that I have found with it is if you park your kayak on the beach it will fill up with sand, rocks and other assorted debris. I tried washing it out from above but couldn’t get it all out. No great issue but, if it does fill up it needs to be removed to clean it out. I was thinking maybe on drilling a couple holes in the side or below to cure this minor annoyance. Other than that it does the job. Great product like all the other BerleyPro line. I recommend all of the products they make.

USI found the transducer mount does not fit the new (2020) Hobie Outback. I'm still waiting to find out if I need a RMA to return it.
CAThe part is a bit expensive but the service and delivery is all and more then you could expect. I will definitely consider buying from this source again.
USI bought the transducer kit because I have a helix 7 with side imaging. The kit is strait forward and pretty easy to install. I did have an issue in the back where I had to whittle away some plastic so the adaptor would fin into the transducer area on the bottom of my kayak, not had to do. Other than the installation, the only drawback that I could find is that the "top" of the adaptor does protrude farther down on the bottom of the kayak than anything else, I'd say by about half to 3/4 of an inch. This does concern me, but it can be worked around, and the plastic they used if durable enough that I won't be concerned about it for a while, but I could see in the future a necessity to replace the kit when it gets worse out.
