My New Favorite Braid

I fish all over the world for everything from mountain trout to giant tuna offshore as part of my business. For me, losing a fish isn't just a bummer... it can actually really affect my income. So for me, my fishing line is my business, and I refuse to use anything but the best. A couple years back I discovered Tasline after watching those crazy Aussie boys using it to wrangle in massive GTs from the rocks, so I had to give it a try. I never went back. This stuff casts better than the competition, it breaks at way higher force than it advertises, and it's thinner than it should be for the strength. There's literally nothing I'd want to improve. Also, white looks good on every setup. Can't recommend this stuff enough if you dislike losing fish.

Function over fashion

The transition over to Tasline has been outstanding. Leaving behind all of the color options in braided line for increased performance was a no brainer. Increased casting distance and the way the line packs on to a reel is impressive. Having the availability to fish many different environments and situations has been great. Needing to cast large lures into specific zones and being able to present a strong braid that will not inhibit the action of a lure is easy with the PE offered.

Great casting braid

Using 8lb on a 2000, 12lb on a 2500, 20lb on a 3000 and 30lb on two 6000 sized reels. Performance is just about the same on each reel. Spools evenly, peels off and moves through the air in a direct line to target without much wind interference, and breaks well above the stated breaking strain. Hard wearing. Well worth the $$ IMO.
