How to Fish the Double Trouble Jig:
-
Attach your leader to the eye end for fast mechanical jigging.
-
Tie your leader to the tail end for slow-pitch or flutter action.
- Use a Heavy Drag and fight the fish hard to keep their head up
-
Drop the jig to your desired depth, then apply either fast lifts or slow taps.
-
Use a pause after each movement—fish often strike on the fall.
-
Adjust technique depending on species and current.
-
Strike firmly on contact and maintain pressure throughout the fight.
