Injection-moulded hard plastic replacement skid plates for the Hobie Mirage Lynx, designed as a direct replacement for the factory soft skids. The larger wraparound profile provides greater rear seam coverage than the OEM skids — protecting the section of the hull that takes the most contact during loading, unloading, car-top transport, and launching across hard surfaces.
Significantly more durable than 3D-printed alternatives. Injection-moulded hard plastic resists flexing, cracking, and wear under regular use in a way that 3D-printed parts and adhesive keel guard tape simply don’t. These will outlast the factory skids by a significant margin.
