The TotalScan ready transducer mount is designed to fit in the existing Lowrance Ready location on the base of Hobie kayaks. These mount and cover the TotalScan transducer which comes with the Elite TI range providing protection and also maintaining a crisp image with the structure scan. Side imaging requires the transducer to sit lower than the sides of the hull to not interfere with the image. The image above shows a transducer mount sitting on a PA14 and you can see the height of the transducer sits approx. the same height as the twin hull section at the rear. This extends below the hull on other Hobie models.

This is made from tough ABS plastic and comes with stainless steel fasteners required.

Great product. Fast shipping. However, not as advertised in the photos. The housing is not free and clear from damage. The housing extends approximately 1″ – 1 1/2″ below the bottom of my 2016 Hobie PA 14. We will see how it holds up to the first oyster reef.

The Berleypro visor and TotalScan transducer shield are a must have for all Hobie and Kayak anglers. The Visor allows you to see the screen clearly in direct sunlight as well as allowing you to reduce the screen brightness to extend battery life. The TotalScan transducer shield is rugged and tough, allowing you to mount the transducer cleanly on the bottom of the Hobie kayak, using the factory slot. I have had both on my Hobie PA14 for over 12 months now and I don’t know how I went so long without them! Great products Marty and Berleypro team!

I have used the TotalScan transducer mount on both a Hobie Pro Angler 14 and Hobie Outback. It is easy to mount, rugged enough to handle rocky beach launches, dock scrapes, being banged around on mothership trips and just about anything you can do to it.

I have TotalScan mount on my one Hobie ProAngler and the 3D StructureScan mount on the other. The mounts are very easy to install, protects the transducer and does not effect the image quality.

Extremely easy install! I have this installed on my lowrance ti9 and it doesn’t mess with the image at all. The only down fall literally is I need to add something around the hole where the cable comes up. Why? Because when I took the stock one off there was a bobber, deep diving crank bait and a lot of worms and hooks lol. WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY BUY IT!

So, when I first got this I was a bit sceptical about damaging it as it didn’t sit perfectly flush with the hull (wasn’t made for a sport but it definitely works). Now I can’t go on without telling you out of the package it seemed a bit flimsy…. well blimey I was wrong. Been on the yak for about 1 year now,
I literally have smashed my kayak into 35 pontoons, 23 trees, 50 rocks (actually went down rapids on a few occasions where I hit sharp rocks at full pace), has been dragged across sand and done everything it probably isn’t meant to do…. and it is still mint, like actually bearly a mark on it. Would be interested in building a house out of this material, cheers for the great product. Don’t think, just buy.
