Learn how to install the BerleyPro Uni-Trans Mount – a universal fish finder transducer mounting platform designed for the Hobie Lynx and Passport models (with Lowrance 3-in-1 transducers). This step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the simple installation process, which only takes around 5–10 minutes with just a Phillips head screwdriver.
The Uni-Trans Mount kit includes: A Transducer Mount Plate – which secures to your transducer, and then secures to the Hull Adaptor Plate, a Uni-Trans Protector Cover which shields your transducer from damage when hitting the bottom, rocks, or when landing on shore, and the Hull Adaptor Plate which secures to the kayak and the Uni-Trans Mount. Also included are stainless steel fasteners to get the job completed.

Installation Steps:
Run the transducer cable through the Transducer Mount Plate, Hull Adaptor Plate and the centre scupper hole.

Use the supplied stainless steel screws and washers to attach your transducer to the aligned holes on the Transducer Mount Plate.

Place the Hull Adaptor Plate in position on your kayak, use the existing REAR screw only to secure in position.

Position the Uni-Trans Plate (and attached transducer) over the Hull Adaption Plate and check alignment of the screw holes.

Place the Uni-Trans Protection Cover over the transducer and align screw holes.

Use the supplied screws and the existing Hobie screw to secure the transducer and cover in position. Your transducer is now fully protected and ready for action. Shop the BerleyPro Uni-Trans Mount here: Part No BP263202
