As avid anglers, we know how crucial it is to have a clear view of our fishfinder screens while out on the water. In this comprehensive guide, we will walk you through the process of installing the BerleyPro Visor on your Humminbird 13 or 16 inch sounder / graph. Before we start you should know that BerleyPro Visors ate designed from the ground up with quality, functionality and ease of use in mind. Let’s get started!
Step 1 – First up, let’s break open our kit, it should contain print instructions, stainless steel screws, washers and nuts, stainless steel support tabs, and of course, the visor.

Step 2 – Remove the leads from the rear of the unit, and then remove all 4 screw cover tabs from each corner of the screen. Lightly pry them out with a small screwdriver – this exposes the flush-mount screws we will use to mount the visor

Step 3 – Place the visor over the head unit from the rear, and align the visor mounting holes with the flush mount holes in the head unit. Push the stainless steel screws through from the front.

Step 4 – Align the stainless steel support tabs over the screws at each side of the unit; these provide rigidity and strength. Screw on the nylock nuts and tighten without going too hard.

Step 5 – Reinstall the cables and dustcover, and don’t forget to press back on the screw covers – you are good to go!
